Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use GrandRound, including on a phone at the back of a lecture theatre.

This statement covers grandround.co.uk, event websites hosted on it, and the organiser area. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What you can do

  • Zoom to 400% without losing content.
  • Use every form and page with a keyboard only.
  • Use a screen reader. Form fields are labelled and errors are announced.
  • Read text with sufficient colour contrast. Event colours chosen by organisers are adjusted for readable text.

Known limitations

  • Generated PDFs (certificates, posters, books of abstracts) may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Contact the event organiser for an accessible version.
  • Images and posters uploaded by organisers may lack descriptive alternative text.
  • Drag-and-drop reordering in the organiser area has keyboard support, but may be awkward with some assistive technologies.

Reporting a problem

Email accessibility@grandround.co.uk. We aim to reply within 5 working days. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
